What is it about?

Together with some friends we were all hyped up and interested in cryptocurrencies. We thought ourselves why not launch a cool NFT project which entails tamagotchi features. This is how Zoobreak was born. We worked with Julia our artist to create these wonderful NFTs.

Zoobreak in a nutshell

We didn’t just want to launch yet another NFT with mediocre art and no story behind it. This was done multiple times up to this point already. This is why we came together and brainstormed what cool thig we could do. We imagined a zoobreak scenario where giraffes break out of the zoo and then have to survive on their own. The survival aspect was contained within the tamagotchi feature where the NFT has to be nourished and cared regularly. By this the NFT will survive and be able to enter stage two later in our game. This ensured regular interaction and also scarcity because some people will for sure neglect their NFT.

Why we never deployed our NFT and smart contract

As the headline suggests we never launched our NFT officially. We had everything in place: a great team, wonderful NFTs, tamagotchi game implemented in solidity + the code to deploy it on the Ethereum blockchain, twitter and discord community. Looks professional and promising? There was one important piece of the puzzle where we failed at: marketing. We were not able to grow our discord community above 500 members although we increased our marketing efforts to our best. We didn’t want to spend xx$ just in marketing, we wanted to grow organically, because it was mainly still just a fun project with friends that grew a bit. At some point we had to admit that we were a bit late to the NFT hype cycle and decided to abandon the project. We learned a lot especially that marketing is super important even if you have (in our opinion) a super cool project. Feel free to message me if you want to buy NFT project and try to launch it yourself.
